Churches in the Islamic Zone

Hi, Summiteers,
When Jennifer and I left Senegal, Africa, in 1980, we left behind, in the interior, one little fellowship of indigenous believers with no chapel, pastor, or bell. We considered it a failure, because it was not a "church". When I got to go through there last May, we learned that they are now more than thirty groups, mostly families in scattered villages. The Lord has been raising up amongst them unpaid apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds and teachers. Praise God ! they now have the Bible in a related dialect. Please pray for explosive growth and for protection from rich wolves. Please, pray, too, that I may invest in them some spiritual gift and insight when I am to return there later this month for a few days. Fortunately, I speak a local trade language we have in common.
