The Sunday struggles...

It's been mumbled about, mentioned often enough I feel we must take some action.  But first, a question to the rest of the coop... is anyone else finding it difficult to focus and contribute at church due to children and other context?  I understand the philosophy of the House Church is to be spirit lead, but I have to admit there must be some organization, some leadership to get things going in some direction of discussion, prayer or worship.  Not all of us go to a traditional church on Sunday's, so we look to the House Church as our sole means of community, faith and growth.  We've tried splitting up, women and children one week, men and children the next, family the third (this one worked pretty good).  We've tried babysitters (also worked, but not consistent).  We've tried Children's activities with some success, 2 staying with the kids all evening.  Any suggestions from the other Houses?  What works well in your dynamics (we have 3 toddlers (all under 2) and 4 boys up to 9 y.o. with 2 newbies coming in December and March)?  We're looking for tacticle suggestions, trials and failures.  Thanks, families!
